Hilary Duff Talks Hollywood Pressure & Staying Slim Through Pilates

"Lizzie McGuire" put Hilary Duff on the map. In other words, Duff was Hannah Montana before "Hannah Montana."
Now, at age 20, Hilary is all grown up and secure in her body image, after years of dealing with weight issues. From "thin Lizzie" to "just right Hilary," she revealed her secret to Access Hollywood's Maria Menounos."In Hollywood there's a lot of pressure, at least in the weight category. How do you deal with that?" Maria asked Hilary.
"They said things before, you know like, 'Oh my gosh! She's gained weight!' And then I lose weight and then it's, 'Oh my god, she has lost too much weight!'"
The fluctuating frame of Hilary Duff has been a surprisingly hot topic for the past two years or so.
"I think that when you just laugh about it and you don't let it effect you " it's easier said then done, definitely, because it hurts your feelings and it gets to you, and we're just human," Hilary said.

At 20, Hilary is now physically fully mature and at a comfortable weight on the cover of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan. Like the rest of us though, Hilary has to hit the gym.

"I work with a Pilates trainer," Hilary revealed. "I am so bad at exercising outside of Pilates. It's just not fun, it's like I just can't make myself go."

After bursting on to the scene as Lizzie McGuire at just 13-years-old, doing the singing and the fashion line thing, and surviving a not-so-nice breakup with Joel Madden, Hilary has remained seemingly unaffected.

"You are so young, how do you keep such a level head about everything?" Maria asked Hilary.

"I think that it has to do with people that I surround myself with and keeping a focus on what is important to me," Hilary said. "I think I am a pretty normal person outside of my not-so-normal job and I love everything I do."

In Hilary's newest endeavor, she's shedding her good girl image for a rebellious one in indie drama "Greta," but even on set, the scrutiny is relentless.

During the filming of a scene for "Greta," the paparazzi photographed the star as she walked into the ocean fully clothed. They later reported that she nearly drowned.

"My mom called me she is like, 'Are you OK? Are they taking care of you out there?' [I'm] like 'Yeah!' and she was like, 'Supposedly you can't swim and like two guys had to save you in the water,'" Hilary recounted.

EX MARKS SPOT FOR LINDSAY

Lindsay Lohan is now spending time with her ex, Stavros Niarchos, after she dumped rehab buddy Riley Giles a week ago. Niarchos, who used to date both Lohan and her frenemy Paris Hilton, this time is sticking with the newly sober star. Hilton showed up to a party for the anti-smoking lozenge Ariva at Crimson in Hollywood the other night and tried to hook up with Niarchos - who, spies said, "wanted nothing to do with her and seemed so annoyed by her, he left the party" to go hang with Lohan. Hilton, unaware she had irked Niarchos, was then seen wandering around "asking where Stavros had gone." Meanwhile, someone tried unsuccessfully to sell Lohan family Thanksgiving photos to the weeklies. A source said, "This person wanted $100,000 for a picture of Lindsay cutting the turkey surrounded by [mom] Dina and [sister] Ali. But [a week after the holiday] it wasn't timely. The price came down to $10,000, but no one bought them."

PARIS BACK ON STAVROS' TRAIL

Paris Hilton desperately wants her ex, Stavros Niarchos, back, say sources who have followed her antics in Miami this week.

The former lovers, who are in South Beach for the annual Art Basel festivities, provided a traveling sideshow as Hilton spent the week trailing Niarchos from spot to spot trying to get his attention.

Hilton first ran into him at Mansion Wednesday night, where he was paid to host the official Art Basel kickoff party. When the Greek shipping heir showed up with Brandon Davis' ex-girlfriend, Caroline Vreeland, however, Hilton was not pleased.

"Paris beelined for Stavros, but he was chatting up Caroline," said our source. "He was completely ignoring Paris, and she was furious. She shot them evil looks and finally stormed up to them and started screaming at Caroline."

On Thursday, the celebutard followed Niarchos to three different clubs. One partygoer at Mokai, where the rich kids started their night, told us, "Paris saw that Stavros was with a girl, and she went crazy. She literally stood on Stavros' table and began screaming at him. Then she started dancing and trying to get his attention."

The insider said that when Stavros and his date left Mokai and moved on to Set, Hilton followed: "Paris went to great lengths trying to get Stavros' date kicked out, begging club security to get rid of the girl." Our witness even claimed, "Paris was so furious, she ended up walking up to the girl and just punched her."

But a rep for Hilton called that account baloney: "Paris was at both clubs but at no time physically struck anyone. These accusations are completely false."

Meanwhile, the art fair is in full swing and Miami is in gridlock. "The city was unprepared," a limo driver said. "Everyone brought an entourage with them this year and the traffic is impossible. It takes forever to get from one end of town to another."

Every hotel on South Beach held a party Thursday night. The Ultimate Fighting Championship debuted its "Octagon" book (which sells for $2,500) at the Setai with Mandy Moore. Agent Provocateur held a party at the Florida Room in the Delano where models in lingerie ate fire and twisted themselves into precarious positions.

Keira Knightley Shows Her Bangs

Keira Knightley is showing off the effects of her latest trip to the salon.

Looking a little bit ‘ballerina-like,’ the “Pirates of the Caribbean” showed up at the premiere of her new film “Atonement” last night in Beverly Hills, California. She wore a Rodarte dress and some fun two-tone high heels.

Knightley is quickly becoming a new style icon for the up-and-coming generation. In the latest issue of “Interview,” the British babe appears in a seductive photo shoot, showing off her curves.

It’s a 1940’s pin-up-style layout, and apparently her tendency for near-nakedness is a point of joking among her friends. She told press, “My friends actually have bets on whether I can do a photoshoot and keep my clothes on – and I can’t at the moment. I find it vaguely liberating. You will probably see pictures of me soon walking down the street naked.”
